* Some rumors in Egypt are suggesting that Ihab al-Sherif (Egypt's ambassador to Iraq who is believed to be murdered) could be still alive. The main reason of course is that his body hasn't been found yet, and that his murder was not videotaped or broadcasted by the terrorists like previous murders. Egypt's foreign minister said that the chance of El Sherif being alive is small.

* Tomorrow is the 23rd of July, the anniversary of an event that very much changed history in Egypt and the Middle East begining from 1952. I will post my thoughts about it later.

بعض الإشاعات في مصر ترجّح أن إيهاب الشريف قد يكون على قيد الحياة في العراق. السبب بالطبع هو عدم العثور على جثته وأن عملية القتل لم تُسجّل أو تُذاع من قبل الإرهابيين. وزير الخارجية المصري قال أن احتمال أن يكون الشريف على قيد الحياة هواحتمال ضئيل.
